How to Register for an Uncommon Adventure

It's pretty simple to get started! Just make a payment to reserve your trip. You can pay by credit card online (full amount only), or by mailing in a check. You can pay the full amount or a deposit (see Deposits below, at this time we cannot accept online deposit payments, but you can mail a check or pay by credit card over the phone).

  1. Make a Payment
  2. Pay Full Amount Online by Credit Card: Using our PayPal enabled secure site that accepts major credit cards (PayPal registration is not required). Each trip description / itinerary page has a PayPal link at the bottom; click to make a credit card payment via PayPal.

    OR

    Pay Full Amount by Check: Simply mail in a check along with a Registration Form. Feel free to include your Participant Profile form as well (or you can do it later - see below).

    OR

    Pay Deposit Only: A deposit of $150 ($300 for international trips) will hold your space in a program or trip. Please note that we are not set up to receive these partial payments online. If you wish to pay a deposit by credit card, please call it in at 1-866-882-5525 (For your protection, please do not include credit card information in your e-mails). Otherwise please pay your deposit by check. Don't forget to include a Registration Form, so we know how to credit your payment!

  3. Complete the Participant Profile Form
  4. This form helps us collect information that's important to your health and safety. We also ask about your food preferences, and what makes you happy. Because it's a bit lengthy, we don't require it when you register, but we'd like you to do it soon! You can complete it online or you can print and mail it to us.

We will respond with confirmation of your request when we receive payment. We will hold phone and e-mail reservations for 7 business days.

Deposits

Domestic Trips (US and Canada): A $150 deposit is required to hold your space. It is fully refundable up until 30 days before the trip / program. Your balance is also due 30 days before the trip / program.

International Trips: A $300 deposit is required to hold your space. It is fully refundable up until 45 days before the trip. Your balance is also due 45 days before the trip.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel within the 30-day period prior to departure for domestic programs (or 45 days prior to departure for international trips), your money will be credited toward future programs. If you can find a replacement for your cancellation, we will send you a full refund.
