No matter what holiday tradition you follow it seems that this time of year, a wave of messages to acquire more “stuff”, bombards most of us. It always makes me ponder the question of ownership. It seems to me that ultimately, one the few things that any of us really own is our relationships. Whether with our families, our family of friends or a higher power taking stock of those relationships and celebrating them is what I urge you to do through these holidays. In keeping with that ideal, I most humbly thank all of you who, despite our economy, have supported us into our 28th year! I truly hope that we have given back exceptional experiences for your support.
A life rich in experience may be the only true wealth we ever have, so I urge you to share experiences with those in your life. Take the long way home, maybe do something the hard way, take a kid fishing instead of renting a video, go for a walk, cook for friends. It may be small stuff that adds up to a huge life. We can help with that…perhaps someone you know would enjoy the gift of experience with a kayak lesson, “Expedition School”, a custom day trip with a Champagne lunch or even a winter escape to warm tropical climes. Give us a call and we’ll make that rich gift of experience possible from you. 866-882-5525
Most folk’s only complaint about our Water to Wine Kayaking/wine tour was that it was too short! Not only do we feature Leelanau County wineries in this tour, but also we give you another day all from a Lake Leelanau retreat location!
