Michael Gray & His Fine Backcountry Cooking

Our base of operations is Michael's home on 40 acres of hardwoods along the beautiful Betsie River. We are located at 6721 Grace Road in Benzonia, Michigan, just 1/4 mile west of Highway 31.

Directions: From Highway 31, Travel west on Grace Road for about 2/10 of a mile (look for Honor State Bank and Vacation Trailer sales at intersection). We are on the left across from the wooden footbridge in the park. Look for a tan stone house, kayaks and a hammock or two swinging in the Spruces.

Allow 4 hours from Detroit, 2.5 from Grand Rapids, 3 from Lansing, and 5 from Chicago and about an hour from Traverse City.
